it was summer, and now it's almost gone

It was a lovely day, the summer just began, and I took a bike ride to "the island". I laid on the grass and looked at those big white clouds, everything was so green and fresh. Then I rode a little bit further, to that isolated play field. There was a chair, and I tried to take some selfs, but obviously had trouble focusing. Anyway, they're at least good as a memory. It's sad that the cold days are coming, I can't say that I like sun and heat, but good warm weather is my favorite, and it's soon to be over.

down, forward and up

I took these sometime in spring this year, just found this roll and decided to scan it, as I don't have any fresh photographs. I often go to this forest, which is nearby our summer cottage. I love these tall pine trees, and all kinds of moss underneath my feet. The third picture is from another part of this place, just further from our home and closer to the river, it's wetter there, so it's more green, the ground even becomes swampy here and there, especially after the rain.
